Improving quality in photo for print
I wanted to know if anyone knows of a way to improve a photo in GIMP so that it can be printed in larger formats? Enlarging seems to be okay, adding a black bg and setting layer mode to overlay also seems to have worked, but as I am aiming at selling my photos, I want to be 100% sure I deliver a good enough product! All help greatly appreciated!

RE: Improving quality in photo for print
Contrast and sharpening are the usual enhancements. But before applying them, there are few questions: what is the size of your picture in pixels? How big do you want to print them (in inches)? What kind of camera are you using? Can you post a picture (or an extract) at 100% size?
