ImageShack No Longer Free
All my tutorial images are hosted by "ImageShack" now they want money. I have 30 days to move out. I will be looking for a better place to land. In the mean time if you want any of my tutorials I will post them as PDFs later after the images fall off.

I can't complain about any company charging for service. But there are so many free services (of this kind) I don't see how they can keep their doors open.

RE: ImageShack No Longer Free
That sucks, they were a fair image host at best. The times I remember uploading to them, 40% of the time it would load(small images too, less than 300kb.) I think now that they've upgraded their servers they need to keep up with new fees >_> but if their service is still shoddy, yeah...

You should get a PBucket, I had one (should try to find it again lol) their hosting is great, but there is a bandwith limit, so be web-wise about uploading (file size, view loads...)

RE: ImageShack No Longer Free
While they are only asking $1 per month it would be silly for me to incur an additional expense at this time. I dropped my cable TV and got Netflix because it is cheap, commercial free, and I can use it on my Wii. I dropped AT&T land phone for $60 a month and went 100% cell phone because it is cheaper. As long as companies offer the service for free ... well you can't get cheaper than free. lol

I signed up at Deviant Art.

Cheaper isn't always better, unless its a good carrier cell phones don't work too well indoors in some places & maybe inclement weather. If your in a family home, a land line is a good alternative for emergencies (power outages.)
