Image Sizes
Hi, I have two different images. Both are set at Height and Width: 7 by 10.5 inches. However, whenever I view them, the one is always bigger than the other one. Does this have something to do with the pixel dimensions? I see that the pixel dimensions of the one is much larger.

RE: Image Sizes
The actual image size in inches are only indicative. The real thing is the size in pixels. However, the image carries what one could call an "intended print definition" in pixels per inch, so Gimp can display sizes and measures in inches. So for instance a 3000x2000 pixels image will be assumed to have a 10"x6.66" size at 300PPI or 20"x13.33" at 150DPI.

But you can change that print definition without altering the image...
