I just want a solid color
I've never used GIMP before; I usually use MS Pain, but I need an image with a transparent background, so here I am. However, I just want a simple, solid-black circle. I have an outline, but every time I try to color it, I get gray colors surrounding the black. I understand the benefits of this, but I want don't want it. How can I get a solid black color, within the lines, without gray spilling over?

I apologize if this has been asked before. I don't even know what this feature is called, so I don't know how to search for it.
