How to unblur text on a image.
Hello. Someone has given me a image which has a web address at the bottom but I can't quite make out the web address as it is a bit blurry. Simply sharpening the image does make the words any clearer. Is there any special technique that will make these letters clearer so I can make out the web address?

I have attached the image.

Thanks

RE: How to unblur text on a image.
Was the website blurred on purpose( probably intentional for copyright or privacy reasons?)

Also, Is the bottom of the address the bottom of the picture? it looks cut off, so even if you successfully sharpen it, it might still be hard to reat since the bottom of the letters are cut off some.

a couple things to try, in Gimp:

1 Filters > Unsharp mask... (then adjust in small amounts the sliders except for "threshold")

Well, my crystal ball is in for servicing at the moment.

I think we can say that it starts with WWW. and finishes .COM and that makes me think that it is all upper case.

For the bit that remains, looks to me that the second and last characters are an 'A'
Characters 1,3,5,7 look a little on the thin side so probably I,J or L but do rule out Y and S. Then 4 and 6 are wider so could be anything but probably not I, J or L.

That gives 5 x 5 x 23 x 5 x 23 x 5 = 330625 combinations

Assuming you can check say, 5 per minute and an 8 hour working day that is only 138 days.

If you start now you might be finished next spring. Confused
