I wanted to transform only selected part of image and instead all the layers and all the image was transformed by 1800 degree. How to do this what I want to do with the aid of free gimp?

RE: how to transform only copied part of image
You are in the "Image" option
You need one level down in the "Layer" option.

RE: how to transform only copied part of image
Yeah, saw your post. Simple:

Either
- select & copy just the part you want to rotate. Paste as new layer
- Then click the Rotate rotate tool, or you can try your method, but I think that's rotating the whole document/image.

OR
- duplicate the layer
- on Crop crop tool, check []layer only , make sure your new duplicated layer is selected in the windows dialogue box
-then crop to just the part you want to rotate
- Rotate rotate the top layer (duplicated layer, now cropped to arrow)
- Then select the original layer and match the background where the arrow was (assuming you put everything on one layer)

*If you made the elements on different layers, try checking on/off the eyeball to see what's on what.

Hope this helps
