How to straighten converging verticals in Gimp
Hi All,
The thread subject says it all, is there any way of straightening converging verticals in Gimp.

Any help, advice or ideas greatly appreciated.

RE: How to straighten converging verticals in Gimp
Use the Perspective tool (Perspective) and set it to "corrective" mode. Make the preview grid follow what should be verticals in your picture. But:
- the final picture is cropped to the parallelogram you create.
- this operation can alter the aspect ratio of things, so you may have to rescale your image afterwards along a single dimension.

Things are a bit more correct with the EZ-perspective plugin but you need Python support in your Gimp installation (if you have a "Filters/Render/Clouds/Fog..." menu entry, then you have it) and its user interface is a bit more difficult.
