How to reset back/foreground color then GIMP starts?

Then GIMP starts its foreground and background colors aren't black and white anymore.



I would like to know how to reset them back to default values (then program starts).

1) Set them to the values you need (actually set everything like how you'ld like to start with: font in text tool, brushes, blend tool options....

2) Edit/Preferences -> Tool options and
a) uncheck "save Tool options on exit" if its checked
b) click the big "Save Tool options now" button.

One thing that is not saved that way is the current tool, because you actually have a tool attached to each pointing device (mouse, tablet...). So to save the initial tool for each device you have to go to Edit/Preferences -> Input Devices, and click the "Save input device settings now" with the very same input device you want to save for.
