How to pass layer info to a different Editor?
Greets,
Is there a way to preserve layer info,
and pass that info back and forth between graphicEditors?

Gimp does 'select by color' best.
But other Editors do something else best.
So I would like to pass the layers around between Editors.
Thanks...vmars316

For one thing, the HELP.
The option 'save layer as file' has disappeared.
And i cant find it.
Gimp.chm (Content and Search) would help.

Another thing is the 'color picker tool'.
Once in a while it pops up, to tell me the color i selected.
But most the time, i dont know if i picked up a color or not.

Cant find (Help) out how to get a color in the 'paint brush tool'.
Once in a while, i stumble across it. But dont remember how i did it.

You don't need to use the console to run scripts. You should find that the script has installed an entry in the menus - specifically File->Save all layers... Just select that and it will run.

What version is he running?
I would like to do that too.
