How to make background match with other layers
Hi everyone,

I wanted a poster of the a-team to hang in my room, but I couldn't find anything decent I liked on the web, so I figured to make one of my own Tongue

However, I am not quite satisfied: whatever I try, the background never seem to match with the characters (I know most of you will find it awful, but my goal is to get it to be somewhat plausible, now it seems just too fake).

Can anyone of you gimp guru's here give me a hint on how I could improve that?

Thanks!

RE: How to make background match with other layers
since its for your room, im guessing perfection isnt a necessity and you just want the tones more on key...? id play with the curves a bit on the background...menu bar>colors>curves
see if that gives ya more of a match.
