How to get this affect
I have images that I need help adding an affect to. I want to add the affect like the images in the header of this facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/christianquotes.info. Basically all I want to do is take my images that are perfect squares and add the curved look to them like the images in the link.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

I hope that link was not just an advert Wink

I can not find a script that will do all-at-once (not-to-say there is none)
In stages, all standard Gimp tools

1. you might want to add a white border to your image Filters -> Decor -> Add border.
This creates a new layer with the border so you need to merge down.
Image -> Merge visible layers.

2. Increase the canvas size a suitable amount, enough to accomodate the bend.
Image -> Canvas size Remember to center it and set resize-layer to all

3. Bend the image with Filters -> Distorts -> Curve bend. The top and bottom are separate and you do each separately. Click-drag the ends and the middle

4. Export your image as a png, this preserves the transparency around the edges for when (if) you paste onto a background.
If you put your image onto a background, open as a separate layer. Now you can move that around, scale it and rotate it and to make it stand out add a drop shadow.
Filters -> Light & Shadow -> Drop shadow.

best of luck
