How to fill a form with text?
Hello,

I want to fill a form with text, how to? Its described here forphotoshop (in german but youll get the drift).

Is that possible for gimp as well? And if so how? Please as easy as possible, im the as newbee as it can get.

This is called flowing text and I do not know of any automated way in Gimp. That video shows PS which has vector capabilities.

Use the text tool and fixed box mode (I think this is default anyway). Start well outside the shape. Add spaces to pad out the text and line breaks (enter key) to start a new line.

A better tool for this is Inkscape, which has a text-to-frame option. Do your text in inkscape then export to Gimp for finishing. example http://i.imgur.com/Z4dZ3.jpg
