How to curve a layer to an image?
If I wanted to have a picture of a book laying open::

And I wanted to put a picture on the right hand side of the book, to look as though it was part of the book, how would I make the curve of the layer(or picture) to mimic that of the book?

RE: How to curve a layer to an image?
Use Filters/Distorts/Curve bend.

For instance to curve this page:

Use the curve bend like this (I used slightly different curves for top and bottom to give a more natural look):

note: this increase the size of the layer, so you may want to do a 'Image/Fit canvas to layers' after applying the filter.

Then a bit or rotation and a dash of perspective:

And Bob is your uncle.
