How to change 72 ppi?
I'm sorry I'm new to gimp, and I cannot find anything on changing ppi to a higher setting.

Thanks

Chris

RE: How to change 72 ppi?
PPI are unimportant, they are at best an indication, used for instance to display measures on the image in inches instead of pixels. I assume 72PPI is the resolution of your screen.

What is really important is the size in pixels in your image. If you have a 6"x4" image at 72PPI (432x288) and want to print it at the same size at 150DPI, it must be enlarged to
900x600 pixels (which usually degrades it quality, this doesn't add any new detail).

Changing the image size in pixels is done using Image/Scale.
