How do I spiral a picture?
I want to take a picture of a bar of music, and make it look like it is in a loose spiral. How do I do this, or can it even be done?

RE: How do I spiral a picture?
This has nearly driven me crazy. First I thought it might be better done in Inkscape, but I could not get the stave image to a suitable path.

Back to Gimp and it looks like my linux gimp 2.8 has a bug that truncates text-to/along-path.

No problem, on to gimp 2.8 in a windows VM.

The only way I can do it (bound to be other ways) is using a music font.
there is one here http://www.fontspace.com/robert-allgeyer/musiqwik
make the text
then apply text-to path.
then stroke the path
