How do I set the color in the grid filter?
I'm using gimp to create knitting charts. The basic process involves using the grid filter to overlay a grid on top of the image.

I'm using an image of a tiger with lots of black, white and browns... so I want my grid to be a highly contrasting color like green or red.

No matter what color I select, my grid is always white, black or gray.

How is grid color supposed to work? Is there some other option I'm missing somewhere?

I'm using Gimp 2.8.22 on Mac OS X 10.12.6.

RE: How do I set the color in the grid filter?
Never mind. I just realized that I changed the image to indexed in order to flatten the colors. If I change it back to RGB, my grid is the right color.
