How do I crop to a specific aspect ratio
I want to be able to accurately crop a 3:2 image to a 4:3. I assumed that you would be able to specify 4:3 in the crop tool option, but all it seems to allow is to enter number of pixels or inches. Have I missed something??
I would really appreciate some instruction as I'm stuck and I'm sure the process is straightforward.
Many thanks

RE: How do I crop to a specific aspect ratio
Just enter the aspect ratio you want in the tool options first:second. Make sure to tick the box and choose the option from the drop down box.

RE: How do I crop to a specific aspect ratio
in the "Tool Options" under the toolbox after you click the crop tool.

- click on the option []Allow growing

Then you can crop beyond the current image border also. Just click and drag a rectangle with the crop tool, bigger than 3:2

This option is also better demonstrated in this part of a video tutorial on cropping:
