RE: How did you find GIMP Forums?
I started out by wanting to attach a fluttering flag to a picture of a boat, so by searching around I found Gimp and got to work on my project. Very quickly I hit some problems and started searching around again and that's when I found this forum. I asked questions, got answers and have been popping in every few days since then.

RE: How did you find GIMP Forums?
Google is my friend. I like this site as I'm not all that good with computers but can usually understand what i"m told. I have a problem now with double post only when I reply to a post, I don't have this problem on any other forum. Would really appreciate some help with this one as I don't want to get everybody else riled.
Thanks

RE: How did you find GIMP Forums?
Funny story!(maybe) So I used both PS and gimp, but I like gimp for its basic/simplicity and fast loading, very user friendly. I found a refine-edge tool for selections in PS, and I wondered, what is the gimp version of that. Gimp has a content-aware feature that works better IMHO(more customizable) So i googled refine-edge tool.

luvky enough! I found someone who was searching for the same thing! XD so I played around with gimp a little and it lead to my first contribution. Been hooked ever since on finding tips seeing awesome piece of works and helping out when I can.

My frist post: http://gimpforums.com/thread-refine-edge-tool

I want to thank the Gimp team, you've created a great program!
