How did you find GIMP Forums?

First of all, I want to say it's great to see you here.

I created this thread in order to realize what ways lead to GF. It would be helpful to know how did you find out about us.

Googled GIMP Forums, and this was one of the first couple results that came up, I joined the really large one, GIMP Talk, but the people there are too advanced for my likeings, then I came here, and I liked its small size, but that soon became a bit dull, so I joined GIMP Chat, now this is just one of 3 forums I am on daily, GIMP Forums, GIMP Chat, and ATF (flash Hacking site, only there for Arts and Forum Games though....)

I also came here from a net search for "gimp forum". However, now I'm here, I don't know what to do. I had some questions to which nobody has responded yet, but I see that there are not enough members yet to form a pool of expertise. Every forum has to start somewhere and I'm sure things will go well - I certainly hope so.

Thanks Ole! As for questions, give them some time to be answered. In the meantime, take a look on already made forum posts full of valuable information. Or, What song do you listen to right now?

Thanks for your response. Hmm, I didn't know I made this an "Important Thread", but whatever.

Regarding answering questions - no worries. I don't expect everyone to know everything. I'll get things figured out eventually. In fact I think I may have the answers to my first questions. When I finish the project I will know for sure, and will post my new found knowledge so that others can benefit.

In the meanwhile, I'll hang around and try to contribute to this community. I like to see new forums get off the ground, and that will only happen if people like me persevere and contribute.

You didn't it was Einhejar, he just checked something, and it made this an Important Thread, I think it is the equivelant of the a Annoucement of phpBB

Also taken here by googling "gimp forum." Well I've been an Inkscape user for quite a while, and they have a major web forum at inkscapeforum.org so such a URL pattern seems pretty natural to me. In the handful of search results this site has the best visual style (offical theme, isn't it?) so I decided to stay here

Looks like I'm going to be the odd man out here, I didn't find this place through Google. I got here the old fashioned way... I ran across a link on Gimpology.com, another site I check daily just to keep up on what's new.

Well I didn't search "gimp forum" but "gimp tutorials" and ran across this.

I googled "Gimp Forum" because I was frustrated with gimptalk's database issues.
