How can I achieve this effect?
Hello, I was browsing the Internet and I came across the following effect.

I find it very nice and I would like to re-create something similar using Gimp, obviously with different colours. Does anyone know how I can achieve this effect using Gimp?

Thanks, I tried clouds but it is not exactly what I am looking. I am looking for an effect similar to a coffee or ink stain. I do not know if this is possible with some gimp filter.

There is a cofee stain, I think under Artistic, or Something else... sorry don't know exactly

That also looks like a brush that I just might have =D, I'll have to look a little and I don't have GIMP open at the time, if I find that I have a brush like that, I will post it up as an attachment for you mate.

Yes... that is it X D, if you want a coffee stain that is one, and then you would just Alpha to selection and re color it with Spray tool or whatever

I found which Brush it is =D, and it is a brush, although I don't know what it is called to give it to you Sad I would just say that you google GIMP Brushes, and download a bunch of them and then one of them will be it...

Thanks to all for the replies. I will experiment with some filters. The coffee and clouds filter seem nice but still not exactly what I have in mind (which is not exactly like in that photo either). Sometimes it is hard to explain an effect you have in mind. Thanks to all again Smile
