Hi and a question.

I've been using GIMP for Mac for a while and wish to thank all the contributors for their efforts and providing this valuable program to the masses. I use GIMP in post processing images for building design, mostly from Google SU modelling.

I have not tried a bump map in GIMP til today. I wonder how I can remove the bump map now. It did not align as in the preview (still wondering what happened). Unfortunately I cannot "undo" it.

Thanks again,

I don't know of any way to revert an applied bump-map. Can you post the image (or an extract) to see if we can come up with some mitigating processing? (better re-ask in the "General" section)

Well, thanks. I figured that after I'd done it. I found that I still had a copy of the surfaces in my clipboard (copied to make the bump map from) so I could paste into a new layer and try again. It worked out fine the second time.

Thank you for the answer and the welcome. Peter
