Hello!
Not new to editing photos and textures and skins for games.
Embarresed to say I've always use paint.net and only dabbeled with Gimp.
Used linux for years. just didn't want to learn another program. But a little contest came up
and been watching some photoshop tutorials, just sparked my interest with stuff I never new you could do, But I can't afford photoshop, nor would I buy it if I could. So I decided a couple weeks ago to get serious with gimp. Having lots of fun and enjoy doing things much more professional than paint.net ever offered me to be able to do. This time around I seem to be catching on really fast. Just yesterday I figured out how to make lines. That is so awesome. I already knew about layers and basic painting, text ect. I like to think I'm pretty good with these tools:

ScaleMeasureHealBlendBycolorselect

RE: Hello!
Will have to check your Gimp knowledge one of these days.

I speak Spanish and I like to think it's because of my knowledge of French that I was able to pick it up without schooling.

I'm sure Paint has also helped you. Things have a way of connecting along the way.
