Grayscale transparency
I am having difficulty creating a grayscale transparency and importing it into Scribus. The image has been converted into grayscale, has an alpha channel, and looks transparent as it should while in Gimp. When saved as a tiff file and imported into Scribus, the image is identified as RGB, and is solid black. Any suggestions?

RE: Grayscale transparency
Hi, Such a nice forum discussion on this topic. I new here. My passion is to make a photographer. I have a greyscale image that I want to use as an alpha channel for another layer. This would take me 2 seconds in PS: invert layer, copy, select an alpha channel, paste, done.
