Gradiant radial white & grey background

Gradiant radial white & grey background
I'd like to have a gradiant radial white & grey background. From the center in a circling fashion a large portion would be white and the ends would be (50%) grey; so the 1/10 to 1/8 (not sure what it will look like, I'd test them out) would be a gradiant from the center white to grey. Attached is a rough example.
Please explain the whole process, I haven't use a gradiant.

Why is it not obvious that this forum is had been DEAD for a long time?
