GIMP Scripting
I have a large number of family photos to edit. I wish to 1) add a white border of 150 Px to each side 2) add text to the bottom white border 3) save the working version in the GIMP native format to one location 4) save the photo to a .jpg archive.

I should be able to script this up.

Is there a good scripting tutorial?

RE: GIMP Scripting
For this kind of job, Gimp isn't the best tool... ImageMagick will be much more efficient.
