Gimp Play animated gif
This has happened many times before and I would like to know why.
This animated gif (my edit) [Image: h418.gif]
appears fine when displaying in firefox, but in the Gimp Player... it displays with some frames not complete. I suppose the reason is replace/combine needs adjusting.
But WHY does it appear fine in firefox... because the difference confuses me?

Thankyou for any info please.

Note:
None of the BBCode tags operate. They all display [undefined] and states [CLOSE TAGS].
How can I get Tags to function please?

After you pick an effect (gimpforums) Click on the red [CLOSE TAGS] to close your current tag, you can do it manually too. Or you can first highlight the text than click the effect. Basically just make sure you close every tag you open or it will show the tag instead of the effect and make sure the tags are typed correctly.
For example if I want to bold this text, I open the start with
Code:
[b]bold this text [/b]

close your tags with [/TagName]

This is similar to closing tags in HTML code. You should be able to highlight your text too and click on a tag in the toolbar and it will open & close the tag for you.

Another way to see how the forum tags work is to quote this post or yours by clicking "reply" under it. *Not "new reply"

Your effects size and bold to "Note" worked. Maybe its disabled in firefox(just a stab in the dark) I've used firefox but not on this site, I'm using chrome that uses some mozilla components though so I don't see why it would be too different in coding.

Thanks for explanation. I will check with other gifs that have this same problem and see if they have frames with quick speed (10ms). Doesn't seem like that should be a problem though...

● Yes changing Frame7 to combine helps... except the paper doubles and that needs fixing.
And also Frame10 I changed to combine too.

Thanks for the tag info. Very complicated and needs simplifiying to be more user friendly.
If not that... then needs an explanation of procedure next to the [Close Tag] or a tooltip.
● I had used another BBCode tag insert for the note. http://custombuttons.sourceforge.net/for...php?t=1069
I set at [size=120] and yet it appears HUGE.
