Gimp doesn't distinguish fonts....

Gimp doesn't distinguish fonts....
I'm using Gimp 2.6.11 on Ubuntu 11.04 and I have two fonts in my .fonts/b directory: "Biting My Nails.ttf" and "Biting My Nails Outline.ttf". The problem is Gimp doesn't give me the regular "Biting My Nails," rather, it gives me two "Biting My Nails Outline" calling them both "Biting My Nails." I've checked with LibreOffice and it sees the two okay and distinguishes between the two just fine. Any way to make GIMP see that they're two different fonts?
