Gimp 2.8.22 in Windows 10: Filename issue
Hi everyone. I have the following problem with my installation of the 64-bit version of Gimp 2.8.22 on my Windows 10 machine:

When I open a file, Gimp shortens its filename to the 8.3 rule (8 characters for the filename, 3 for the extension). When I extract the file, I need to retype the entire file name. Why does it do it? What can I do to correct this issue? 2.8.16 on my laptop doesn't give me this problem.

Thank you.
