getting depth in image or soften edges?
Hello,

I changed the background of a picture and I am satisfied so far, except for the end of the hall. The transition form where the hall ends and the green stuff I pasted begins. The edge is to hard or something. I don't know how to explain it but it is obvious that there can be made some progress there. Can anyone tell me how to make those edges more natural?

This is the original
And this is the result (sofar)

And if you see somthing else that can be done better please tell me.

Grtz Merijn

One thing that doesn't look right to me is that there's no light coming into the building from the hole. If you look behind the yellow vehicle at the building wall you can see where the light hits the wall - same with the floor. It's like there's a picture on the wall.

RE: getting depth in image or soften edges?
You can use the blur tool along the edge or emulate the blooming you have around the door in the original photo to hide the transition.

Another reason your exterior looks hard is that it looks unnatural for several reasons:

1) it's not overexposed
2) it's in sharp focus
3) it looks like the garage opens directly on the grass, where everyone would expect a patch of tarmac or at least dirt.
4) perspective is a bit wrong, it looks like the back isn't even level with the grass, but opens above it.

So,

- lighten and blur a bit your exterior
- blur/blend the edges
- add some tarmac
