From complete black and white to color
I made an image that has only two colors (not grayscale) only true black and true white. I want to know how to change these colors independently to whatever color. Basically what I did to this image was throw it in MS Paint and converted it to black and white. How would I change these colors? I'm friggin' brand new to this stuff, and I am sorry if this question has been regurgitated millions of times, but if you could appoint me to a thread that explains it then thanks a lot Smile.

If you want to be fancier it is quite easy because once you have a selection the paint tools only paint the selected pixels, so you can for instance easily fill the white with a gradient, or do broad brush strokes without spilling over in the black.

Thanks a lot for the great help. It worked! GIMP kicks ass Wink
