Rainbow foreground, background, MIDGROUND color toggle?
I'm working on a project that requires 3 shades of each color I use. I'd like to have those colors waiting for me in the mini color palette in the tool tray, but there are only 2 slots (the foreground & background color) to choose from. Right now, there are only 2 ways to choose between 3 colors & they each add an additional annoying step: I could make swatches on the canvas & choose from there (but then I have to switch between the eyedropper & the brush), or I could open the full color palette & choose from there (often making the wrong choice on the 1st try if the 3 shades are very similar).

Is there a plugin, or maybe a preference setting or a script that would allow me to add a 3rd color to the little mini-pallette in the tool tray? Or could I maybe add a 2nd set of foreground/background colors? I know it sounds petty, but I really need to be able to just "dip my brush" without all the back-&-forth. thanksBlush
