Film Grain - Bucket Filling -Q's from a Noob
I've been working with this tutorial to modify some images. Link
I am unsure how to do one particular step however. Under 'Step 2', it reads:
"Next add a new layer to the image, and use the bucket to fill it with your tileable noise."

I can activate the bucket tool, but what am I doing with it?

Thanks,

Yes. Like I said, I got to Step 2. How do I use the bucket between the two images?

Thank you-that helped a lot.

After looking around on the Internet, I read up a good bit on layers and understand them pretty well. However, if I want to Grain Merge what I'm working on, what button/whatever do I push to do it?
I've looked around in GIMP and online with no success to this dilemma.
