Feather inward / feather outward option?
In my old bitmap editor there is a selection control option that lets me feather inside the selection boundary or outside it. Also, it allows me to feather, say, 3 pixels inward of the selection boundary and, say, 10 pixels outward. Does Gimp have such an option? If so, I haven't been able to find it. Thanks for any help!

RE: Feather inward / feather outward option?
In Gimp the feathering is symmetrical around the current limit. So if you want to feather 6 pixels inward, >Select>Shrink the selection by 3 pixel and then feather by 3 pixels.
