The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain is probably one of my most favorites. I love LOTR. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to LOTR; I even read The Silmarillion. The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi is another favorite. It's geared towards a younger audience, but its awesome. I just reread it and its so good. I've been on a reading kick lately. Some good ones I've read were Deliverance (James Dickey) Water For Elephants (Sara Gruen, I think) and Night (Elie Wiesel). I could probably go on for so long too. Also, thanks for sharing, I'll check some of those books out; I haven't read any of those, and I'm always looking for new reading.

I'm an LOTR fan too... If you watched the films, you should read Silmarillon for the history of the elves. Amazing how they describe the "west" that was frequently mentioned in the LOTR books. Would be a nice inspiration for digital painting projects too.

Douglas Adams is fun for some light-reading.

I like LOTR, and the Hobbit too. I also am a fan of the Inheritance Cycle by Paolini, those are some great books.
