exporting png to PDF problem
Hello everyone,

Apologies to be "the guy" who joins and immediately posts a problem!

Previously i was creating product labels in inkscape, exporting as a png then importing the png into gimp simply so i could export as a pdf and send that to the printer. I'm sure theres better ways of doing things but thats how we ended up doing it.

Today however, for no reason i can understand the transparent parts of the pdf are coming out with a white fill.

The label is an odd shape so better to explain that i import a png of a simple black circle but when i export that from gimp as a pdf the black circle is in the centre of a white square whereas the other 10 times+ i have done this it was a simple red circle with a transparent background.

As far as i am aware no settings in gimp have been changed, no one else has used it etc etc

Any suggestions please?

Apologies if my question is unclear
