error message with installation
Hi all,

Last weekend I installed Gimp 2.6.11. The installation went fine. However During the startup process of Gimp I get a message from file wmf.exe that icuuc40.dll is missing. As suggested I removed and installed Gimp again. I still get the message. Gimp works fine.

What is this file and how can get rid of the message?

I have Windows 7. Gimp is installed in Program Files (x86).

Thanks for your replies.

RE: error message with installation
Google for WMF.EXE and you'll find that it's malware (Virus/Trojan).

How "clean" is your PC? Where did you get your Gimp release from? It may be a dodgy installer, with some unsavory software added...
