Eliminating White space around scanned photo
I scanned a family photo and the result is about 25% of a letter size sheet.

I wish to attach this to a 'My Family' post, but the result I desire is just he photo without the white space around the photo.

See my poor attempt at illustration ...
Code:
--------------------
|       |          |
|       |  photo   |
|       |          |
|       |          |
|       |          |
|       ------------
|                  |
| remove all this  |
|                  |
--------------------

If you see what I wish gone, how do I remove this white space so that only the photo can be posted to th 'My Family' site?

RE: Eliminating White space around scanned photo
Sorry abouy the shift of vertical lines in my illustration.
The effect I attempted to show was the photo only occupying about 25% of the letter sized space in the upper -right hand corner.
