Editing Text
Hey there - a newbie user here and new to forum. I saved something I created in Gimp with a .psd extension. Gimp crashed unfortunately before I could save as a Gimp extension file and now I am unable to edit my text layers in the psd file. Is there any way around this?
If I had access to photoshop (which I don't) would I be able to edit the text layers there?
I can recreate the text layers but they were a bit complex so if anyone knows what I might be able to do I would greatly appreciate the feedback. Also, had I saved my files with the gimp extension I would have been able to close the program, re-open and continue to edit my text layers?
Thanks so much!

No, a .psd format file produced by Gimp flattens the text layers to a plain bitmap.

Yes, with a caveat.
Providing you made the text layers with Gimp. If they were originally from PS then they are just plain bitmap.
