Cut out image by itself
I am trying to cut out a image (which I know how to do) and then paste it by itself without any background. I know how to make the background transparent, but when you load the image, for example in a webpage. The background is still white. I was wonder if anyone could help me so the image I cut out is the only image on the file, do background, at all, just the image. I hope this makes sense and would appricate any help.

For example the images below I just want the driftwood as the image, nothing else
so when I post it as a image on a website there is no white space around it.

RE: Cut out image by itself
After you remove the background, do you export as a png which supports transparency. Your example is of course a jpg which will flatten transparency to white.

The other thing to note is not every application displays transparency. Some depict as white, some as black. Game applications can do this and might require their own peculiar image format.
