cropping a circle
Hi

I want to get a quarter of a circle. I have drawn a coloured circle but cannot see how to crop it to have exactly a 90º angle (a quarter of the circle) with no edge.

help...

RE: cropping a circle
If this is what you mean, all sorts of ways.

One way, new layer, some guides, circular selection stroked to form a full circle.

Rectangular selection to cut half the circle. (shortcut ctrl-x)
A further rectangular selection to cut the quarter circle.
If you need to; rotate / move to a new position.
