Creating BMP images from a layer
I am wondering if it is possible to create (by export of layer) a BMP image from a layer which has a TRANSPARENT 'fill'/backgound which consists of black and white only with grayscale 'blending' between the black and white areas?
I have tried this and the BMP image created does NOT have any of the grayscale in the layer.
If I do the same exersize with a layer which has a WHITE 'fill'/background, the BMP image has all the grayscale.

If it is possible please explain how I do it starting with a new layer which has a transparent fill.

Thanks
