Creating Animated GIF
I need to create an animated GIF from three images. I need each image to display for about 30 seconds and then fade into the next image. I know how to time the frames to stay on for 30 seconds, but I'm having a problem with how to do the fading. I know that the GAP is a program that will help with this, but I have Snow Leopard which doesn't currently support GAP.

I'm fairly new to all this graphic design, so detailed instructions would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Scott

RE: Creating Animated GIF
I am not sure how to do that in gimp but there is a program called animation shop which has different effects that you can add to images and change frame speed.

RE: Creating Animated GIF
You can make each frame have a different display time.

For the fading, just put the two images on top of each other and adjust the transparency for a few frames to make it look like it's fading?

Sorry If i'm unclear, but do you get the point?
