create ur own stereogram manually. no programs needed, no software, plugin, nothing!
Hi!! I've always been wanting to make my own stereogram, and I think I kinda figured out how. (see stereograms-google image search for ex.)
1. create new. doesn't matter what the background is, but i always take white or black. (I'm not sure what'll happen with transparent.)
2. choose a pattern and drag it into the background.
3. create a selection, any shape you want. what I did was I added text, made it a solid black, and selected that black with the color tool. i filled that with the same pattern [SAME PATTERN! that's important).
4. Next, duplicate the text or if you didn't use text, then first float the selection (selection<float), rename it. Since now the background layer has a hole in it, you can create new layer and fill with the same pattern. put this new layer on the bottom of the stack.
5. click the scale tool (or any other that works the same way) and slide the top text layer (or shape layer, whatever) a little to the side, a little up, a little down, whichever, but DONT slide diagonally.
6. there! that's it! you're all done now. Btw (by the way), I'm new to this forum and I'm not so sure if I explained everything right so everyone can ask questions below. thanks, and show me the work you do with this tutorial!
