copy into a blank
How do you bring up a blank page so you can copy the selection in your first page and copy it into a blank page to make a PNG file? Blush

RE: copy into a blank
Image - OK, you already helped me. I went to file menu and did NEW. But I exported as PNG but it still had the white background

I bring in a picture (file). I select with rectangle. I push enter. I push control C. The message says -
new clip from selection failure. If I go to the right click copy- control C , it works??

Thank you.

RE: copy into a blank
Thank you for your help. It turned out I had a "control C" in my Quickeys program (shortcut program) which was messing things up.

Also I noticed when I go to NEW under file menu, there is an advanced options menu which allows you to select transparency as background.
