colour matching seems to be problematic
i scan a photo (A5) @ 600dpi and when i enlarge to A4 it prints out like it is almost black and white - and yes i've checked my printer settings - microsoft paint does a great job - what am i missing?

is gimp chaninging the colour balance - is it because i'm using a canon printer?

am i not holding my face in the correct expression when i hit the print button?
