changing Layer names
I'm looking to change the way Gimp names the layers I create. I primarily use the application for 2D animation and would like to have the layer names be structured so that I don't have to change every one for each animation. I'd appreciate any feedback.

RE: changing Layer names
In the Layers dialog, right click and "Edit layer attributes", or double-click layer name, type new name and [Enter]. For animations, parts of the layer names are used to direct how the animation is generated (frame duration).
