Changing DPI (PPI)
I was wondering if there is a way to change the DPI (PPI) of an image when GIMP starts. At default it open the image at 72DPI, and I would like it to open in the native DPI I took the photo at. Instead of having to change the DPI each time I open a photo. If there's anyway I can do this, please let me know.

RE: Changing DPI (PPI)
Edit/Preferences/Default image/Advanced options
OTOH, DPI of an image is completely indicative as long as you don't print and when you print you can change it. ![]() |
