Calling 3rd party plugin for batch mode
Just found out, in help section there is plugin-browser, click on it and you will find how to call some plugin from batch.

I am calling save_for_web plugin but it seems to me that mode, image, drawable isn't being processed.

RE: Calling 3rd party plugin for batch mode
If this is the same save-for-web that I know, then while it performs several functions, not much in the way of accessing the parameters. http://i.imgur.com/90KGwbm.jpg

An alternative using Gimp is BIMP

edit: looking at your other posts, seem to be using linux, so you would need to compile that plugin yourself.
Not difficult, some snags depending on the linux, as it needs the libpcre3 package.

All the functions of save-for-web are there, except they are added one at a time. http://i.imgur.com/yDBIBGJ.jpg

The alternative would be an ImageMagick batch file with something like (at its simplest)
convert sample.png -strip -resize 80% optimized.png
