Best method for uniform threshold

Sad Best method for uniform threshold
I am trying to screen print an image of a woolly mammoth and it is difficult to render it properly for use with screens(one color)

any and all help is greatly appreciated,

Your best best it to convert your image to "indexed" mode (Image/Mode/Indexed), and specify: 1) two colors max and 2) dithering (any choice is better than the default "none").

Once converted you can transform it back to RGB (many tools don't like indexed images), it will keep the two colors.
