batch/copy metadata to other files

batch/copy metadata to other files
Is there any way GIMP can batch or copy metadata from one file to other file(s)? Specifically, a list of keywords from one image to other images that would use the same keywords. Thank you.

If you are talking about the EXIF or XMP metadata, Gimp won't copy them to other files. This is a job for photo management software, not photo editing software like Gimp.

But there are plenty of utilities to do that. IIRC either XnView or IrfanView can do something like this. If you are after writing scripts for this, look into ExifTool.
